Working Meetings and Working to Promote ITA Abroad

The month of March for our ministry means travel abroad to the United States principally. This travel is characterized by numerous meetings concerning the work of the ministry and presentations of the ministry in view of promoting the work of training national pastors and elders in Italy.

ITA is in this regard so grateful for its numerous partnerships that have been a constant source of encouragement and support for its ministry over the years, over approximately fifteen years now going strong: TMAI (The Master’s Academy International) without a doubt has been there alongside us; Grace Community Church of southern California as well has been a consistent partner and in unison with TMAI affords us the great privilege of returning to attend The Shepherds’ Conference every year. EBTC (The European Bible Training Center) has also been a steadfast ally and mentor in the work particularly with respect to its implementation on the field (providing invaluable field experience).

Beyond the above essential partners, over the course of the past five or more years ITA is very privileged to have its own more intimate andmore directly involved partners in the form of the seasoned men and friends that compose the ITA council / advisory board. During our US travel and time at Shepherds’ Conference week this council also meets to discuss and give direction to the training ministry in Italy.

One of the fundamentals of ministry and missions is, as we have learned and are learning still, ties to tested and time-proven partners and partnerships. After faithfulness to the actual work of the ministry on the field, this principle, that is to say, surrounding oneself with enduring allies, is of incomparable value.

Finally, along the above lines, we praise God for several local churches that step up so to speak at the individual and corporate body level to assist ITA as faithful resources for the ministry. ITA considers these churches not just strategic supporters but… family and home in more ways than one.We thankfully have several long-standing local churches that arethis for us and have been for a number of years. Of particular note this year, we wish to highlight Mission Road Bible Church of Kansas City shepherded by pastor Rick Holland and his team of faithful elders and pastors. Naturally, praise goes to the entire church body at Mission Road that recently (following the Shepherds’ Conference) hosted ITA and several other missionaries and ministries the church supports to a missionary conference in its midst in Kansas City. The church did an outstanding work in joining its body ever so more to the effort of the missions’ and missionaries it supports.
